More Nicolas, and Art

Yesterday was another training session with Nicolas. This time it was just them getting used to my hands while they ate. I was at the computer and chatting with a friend on FB, and Nicolas was on my hand chowing down on seed. Every so often I would put Nicolas down on something and call them to me. Worked like a charm!

On the artistic front - started on the Triptych my uncle and aunt commissioned of their dog, Scrappy. Should be interesting working on a long haired dog at such close range! I also finished my dad and nephew's paintings for their birthdays. Hopefully my dad will like his :) My nephew requested a painting (at age 9!) of Oreo, the family's new dog. I gleefully did it for him. It's going to be interesting as Christmas approaches. My one aunt often commissions stuff in early December for her family. **Shrugs**
