Big changes at DPNA!

Two big changes at the studio and aviary at Domnijoe! The first is that Myrrh is looking for a new, forever home. She's not working out as a Service Dog candidate, in part because she's a resource guarder and that she snaps. I can't have her around kids and doing that. She's also waaaay too high energy for my lifestyle. I had 3 days to think about adopting her and I decided and it's not working out. I have found her replacement - a retired show whippet named Pennie. Now just to make sure Myrrh finds a home that will respect her.
The other big thing is that in mid November I lost BOTH Springer and RC, my green cheek conures. They were a year old. Cause of death is unknown at this point, but might be related to the fact my neighbor is a smoker and sometimes the smell of her habit seeps into the bird room. I'm probably going to try out breeding Diamond Doves as a result of this. Hoping I don't lose any more birds!
