1) August not only stepped onto my back while I had him out, but he politely stepped onto the play stand across the room when I was beside it! **Beams with pride** Look Ma! No hands!
For those who haven't heard his story - he was a breeder for some years and isn't hand tame, although he was at one point in his life. He's been a perch potato for the year and a bit I've had him and that includes him not moving from his play stand on the side of his cage. To have him fly from the play stand to me (which he just did right now) is unthinkable for this bird, so it's a great honor when he wants to be near me :)
2) I have to mop. I hate mopping.
3) Cage cleaning day! Cages mostly cleaned, some toys rearranged. Gonna give August another hour before I pull out Nicolas for training :)
