Losing Teeth

Winter is losing her baby teeth. She's already lost her lower canines and got her adult teeth. I think she's starting to lose her molars. It means for a very cranky puppy who must chew chew chew. She's been going for her toys like wow lately and leaving blood everywhere, LOL. Most of her favorite chewies are covered in blood. Poor kiddo. She must be very uncomfortable.

I've contacted the local humane society for their low cost spay and neuter program. Winter is almost 6 months old and needs to be 'fixed' soon. Ideally before her first heat. Here's hoping that she can be spayed with minimal fuss! They have to do some digging to pull out her testicles if she indeed has them, as our regular vet suspects. It's going to cost me about $100 for her spay/neuter. If I went through a regular vet, it would cost me about $400! Ouch!
