Well, things have really changed since I last posted! I have a five month old Service dog candidate who is working out really well. Her name is Winter and she's an Italian Greyhound. I got her from a breeder here in Manitoba when my application for a Silken Windhound fell through. We're working on her basic manners right now, but she seems to be doing okay. Except loose leash walking. We REALLY need to work on that, LOL!

The aviary is now down to 3 cockatiels - Mindwipe, my 18 (!!) year old hen and her mate, Redshift, who turns 17 this summer. Then there's StrongArm, my 5 year old hen who I'm co owning with a lady down in the south USA

because she so desperately wanted a bird and can't have one. When Mindwipe and Redshift pass on, I plan on breeding conures again. But for now, my bird breeding is on hold.
