I can't remember where I found this blessing, but I like to use it when smudging myself. I plan on making a wall hanging of this to put above my altar one day. I'm not even sure if this was based off of a native American smudging ceremony. Wherever I found it, I like it and want to share it. If you come across the original writer, please pass it on to me! I'd love to give credit where credit is due :) . As I smudge myself - either physically or spiritually, I say the following blessing:
Bless my eyes, so that I may have clarity of vision.
Bless my mouth, so that I may speak the truth.
Bless my ears, so that I may hear all that is spoken and unsaid.
Bless my heart, so that it may be filled with love.
Bless my feet, so that I may find and walk my own true path.
This next one I wrote waaaaaay back in December 2005 (Call me Conure FeatherD
ragon, if you'd like to give credit). I was having problems with people in general and a nightmarish landlord. I found it helped me cleanse myself of negative people and their astral gunk. I envision the astral gunk going to the gods to deal with and replacing the gunk with white energy.
I touch my skin,
I touch the sky,
I know my heart,
I know their lie,
I cleanse my spirit
and let it fly.
