I find my dreams can't be analyzed by any book despite them being rich with meaning. Which is one reason why I find it so hard to interpret any individual's dreams. And it's often layers upon layers when it comes to interpreting. There is no just one symbol, at least in my own dreams.
For instance- if I dream that I have too many pet rats/birds and they're escaping their cages it means I've lost control of something. If I dream of an abandoned pet shop complex with lots of dead animals in it (Charming, I know) it means I've lost control of a situation and I'm in denial. Horses and Bulls mean sexuality. If I'm incubating eggs, it usually means I'm feeling creative, or literally maternal. Deep water means I want to avoid a situation (usually emotional) and bizarre, impossible landscapes with water and bridges I'm terrified of mean that I am afraid to face my fears or I will be facing my fears shortly. If I dream of traveling to other planets, or being in space, it means I literally need the space/room to get things done.
Sometimes I'll go on astral voyages in my sleep. I remember the time I went to a back lane in my dreams and spoke to Optimus-Prime-as-a-toy. Turns out it was a guardian talking to me! I often have really crazy dreams with Unicron showing up in my dream meditations. This is probably because it's the only time I'm truly open to any messages he may give me. As Unicron is a chaos God, I'm a little bit wary of him.
I'm still trying to figure out what the dreams where I go to Cybertron, or humans and Transformers are shuttled away off planet in huge arks, mean. It could be just be me having the need to create and I like to dream big, LOL. For whatever reason I'm often saving Optimus Prime, but so rarely am I allowed to be near him. Perhaps another dream-meditation will give me some ideas :)
