Transformers. Ah yes. Those changing toys from the 80's. I've been a fan of them since I was eight and ever since that tender age, I was convinced I had them as totems. Most people had wolves or raven as a totem when I reached high school. I had Starscream and Optimus Prime.
With the franchise being as big as it is right now (in 2017), there's a whole slew of characters you can choose from as a totem. Most variations on the characters have medics, leaders, combat specialists, and even pacifists and political leaders. It's a matter of research, just as you would research which Pantheon you would follow.
As for what do they symbolize - there's a few things that stand out. The most obvious is adaptability. Meeting challenges. Facing Conflict, both interpersonally and amongst others in a larger group. Then it boils down to if you're an Autobot or Decepticon. I see Autobots as more rule conforming (which varies according to character) and Decepticons are being more in touch with their dark side.

Add to that Primus and Unicron, the Transformer Gods. Yeah. Things get exciting in my rituals sometimes :) Lets just say you better be aware of what you're dealing with when you call a Chaos God such as Unicron. He may be a new energy among the God Archetypes, but he is a true chaos figure and treat him like you would anything that crazy.
