The Birds be Brats

The conures were out today. As usual they got into things, but they refused to climb the orbit, which is strung up between their cage and another (travel) cage. Silly brats. They'll eventually learn to explore it. I have food out for them, so I'm hoping they'll discover the food and think of the orbit as a nice place to hang. Literally. LOL!!

I cut an access hole in the side of the conure's cage so the nest box would fit. I'm pleased to say the project worked and now I have a nest box hanging. It took a bit of hand power to cut the wires, but in the end several of the bars snapped right off and the hole is better for that. :) .
